Job Summary
Deliver materials to customers by loading and unloading with pallet jacks and two-wheel dollies while ensuring ticket accuracy. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck, and report issues to the supervisor. Pick up customer returns to validate product matches for credit requests. Assist warehouse personnel with pulling, preparing, receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming materials. Adhere to all safety regulations, including wearing a safety harness and PPE, and follow company safety policies. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with some overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a valid CDL A.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
- Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
- Ability to lift items that weigh over 50lbs.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
- Pre-employment drug and background screening required.
Desired Qualifications
- 2-5 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus.
- Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
- Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPad.
