Job Summary
Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload, ensuring delivery tickets match items. Collect and process customer returns for credit, perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel as needed, and report issues. Assist warehouse personnel with pulling, preparing orders for shipment, receiving, stocking, and staging materials. Adhere to safety policies, wear PPE, and may work overtime; role includes warehouse/yard duties when not delivering. Home daily with no nights or weekends; schedule typically 7:00 AM–4:00 PM with potential overtime. Requires CDL A, ability to meet DOT standards, and maintaining a valid DOT medical card; strong communication and customer-focused approach; prior warehouse/logistics experience a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Maintain valid DOT Medical card
- Follow all DOT standards and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience in warehouse operations and logistics a plus
- Ability to operate iPads or basic technology
- Strong customer-focused communication skills
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Ability to navigate and load/unload materials using pallet jack and two-wheel dolly
- Adherence to safety policies and PPE usage
