Job Summary
Deliver materials to customers using a pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload, ensuring delivery of tickets with materials. Pick up customer returns and validate product matches for credit requests. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems to the supervisor. Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs. Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming material. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with some overtime as needed, starting at $28 and higher based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a valid CDL A
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card
- Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
- Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years of commercial truck driving experience preferred
- A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
- Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
