Job Summary
Transport and distribute propane to customers, performing leak tests, safety checks, and safe vehicle operation. Execute installation, removal, maintenance, diagnostic, and repair work on propane tanks, supply systems, and appliances. Transfer bulk propane to trucks and customer tanks, verify serial numbers, and conduct visual inspections. Monitor truck tank levels, maintain clean vehicles, and educate customers on safe operation. Prepare work orders and invoices while adhering to federal, state, and local regulations. Inspect equipment daily and report issues promptly. Full-time role Monday through Friday with Saturday coverage, rotating night, weekend, and holiday after-hours calls.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Must have Class B CDL with tanker, air brake, and hazmat endorsements
- Have a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License in accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation regulations in employee's state of residence with a Hazardous Materials endorsement
- Must be available for night, weekend, and holiday after-hour calls on a rotating basis
