Job Summary
Receive and prepare packages for delivery by loading conveyor belts, sorting, scanning orders on handheld devices, and staging items for pickup. Transport and stage deliveries to drivers while building, wrapping, and moving pallets using carts, dollies, and hand trucks. Operate in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures, moving vehicles, and equipment like mobile cards and rolling cages. Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching, while lifting up to 49 pounds. Go up and down stairs where applicable, and follow instructions via screens and prompts. Work in climate-controlled facilities ranging from below freezing to over 90°F, wearing closed-toe and protective safety footwear as required.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Closed-toe shoes
- Protective safety footwear in select areas
