Job Summary
Receive and prepare packages for delivery by loading conveyor belts, sorting, scanning, and staging orders into delivery bags and vans. Transport and stage deliveries using carts, dollies, and hand trucks to move items around the facility. Build, wrap, and sort pallets and packages while utilizing smartphones and handheld devices to follow direction for tasks. Operate within a climate-controlled environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles, adhering to safety protocols and wearing required protective gear. Shifts include early morning, overnight, and flexible hours ranging from 20 to 40 weekly. This role is part of the dedicated Amazon team at the delivery station—the last stop before delivering smiles to customers.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Closed-toe shoes
- Protective safety footwear in select areas
