Job Summary
Receive and prepare packages for delivery by loading conveyor belts, sorting, scanning orders on handheld devices, and staging items for drivers. Transport and stage deliveries, build, wrap, and move pallets and packages using carts, dollies, and hand trucks. Receive truck deliveries of customer packages and follow prompts on screens to sort items into delivery bags and vans. Work in climate-controlled facilities with varying temperatures, moving vehicles, and varying physical activity including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Closed-toe shoes required
- Protective safety footwear required in select areas
