Job Summary
Own daily warehouse operations including outbound and sortation, ensuring packages are dispatched accurately and on schedule. Maintain a strong floor presence to lead a team of rotating temporary hourly associates, driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, and cost metrics. Champion OSHA compliance, manage supply inventory to prevent stock-outs, and use data to identify operational trends that improve efficiency and scalability. Assist with P&L management for your market while collaborating cross-functionally with Client Operations and Central Ops to resolve issues and exceed client expectations. This role requires weekend, night, and holiday hours as part of a 24/7 operation with on-call availability.
Required Qualifications
- Academic or equivalent experience
- 4 years in last-mile delivery, 3PL warehousing, logistics, or last mile transportation
- 3 years of experience managing teams of direct and indirect reports in an operations environment
- Proven ability to lead through a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with data
- Experience with Google Sheets to track KPIs and drive decision
- Interest in utilizing AI to optimize workflows
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization
- Track record of building and developing high-performing hourly teams
- Weekend, night, and holiday hours
- On-call availability and flexibility to provide on-site coverage across shifts
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA Forklift Operator certification
