Job Summary
Deliver products to customer docks and on-site tanks using an electronic transfer pump, while participating in tank cleaning, equipment setup, and occasional installation or maintenance at new sites. Prepare shipping documentation, maintain accurate Bills of Ladings records, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations. Keep vehicles and delivery equipment in good operating condition, perform drum and tote cleaning and inspection, and assist with chemical blending activities as needed. Adhere to all safety policies and support warehouse duties as assigned. Maintain a clean driving record and possess a Class B CDL to safely operate in a wide range of environments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possession of a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Ability to perform job duties within a wide range of environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Clean driving record
- Ability to safely and properly use an electric pallet jack to move skids or totes of chemicals
- Ability to frequently lift 5 to 50-lbs. up to 5 ft. off the ground
- Ability to move 15, 30 and 55-gallon drums using a hand truck
- Ability and willingness to wear required PPE as required by role duties
- Ability to pass a respirator fit test and wear a half or full-face respirator
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability and willingness to work overtime to meet production and delivery demands
- Ability and willingness to obtain vaccinations that may be required based on customer requirements, as some of our customers are within the healthcare and related industries
Desired Qualifications
- Possession of a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Current HazMat endorsement
- Current Tanker endorsement
