Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner, using hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Maintain and secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, and collected monies by completing daily inspections, keeping vehicles clean, and reporting maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Pick up customer returns and fill out driver slips, while communicating special needs to store management. Clock in/out per policy and ensure fuel tanks are filled before securing the vehicle at day's end. Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and cashier tasks. Fluency in multiple languages is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
