Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers while collecting C.O.D. payments and picking up returns. Use hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage, ensuring all vehicles remain clean, maintained, and inspected daily. Secure keys, fuel cards, and collected monies at all times, reporting any maintenance needs or accidents immediately to store management. Communicate customer issues to store leadership and perform assigned tasks such as sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and cashier duties. Maintain a compliant driving record and possess a valid state driver's license. Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish, is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
