Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers safely and efficiently. Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries and pick up customer returns, including new, warranty, and core items. Maintain vehicles, secure keys and fuel cards, and report maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Communicate special customer needs to store management and ensure fuel tanks are filled before end-of-day lockout. Perform additional duties as assigned, including sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and cashier tasks when business dictates. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
