Job Summary
Delivery Specialist operates store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner, may collect money on COD deliveries, and handle customer returns. Responsibilities include using delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update mileage, perform daily vehicle inspections, keep vehicles and keys, fuel cards, devices, and money secure, pick up returns, communicate issues to store management, report maintenance or damage, clock in/out, and assist with customer service, stocking, merchandising, and other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
