Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner, using fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and ensure keys, fuel, devices, and collected monies remain secure. Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, pick up customer returns, and communicate special needs to store management. Complete daily clock-in/out per policy, fill out driver return slips, and report maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Clock in/out according to company policy.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish fluency
