Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers while collecting C.O.D. payments and picking up customer returns. Use fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, secure keys and fuel cards, and report maintenance needs or accidents immediately to store management. Communicate customer issues to store leadership and ensure fuel tanks are filled before end-of-day lockouts. Perform additional duties including sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and assisting with cashier tasks when business dictates. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
