Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner, using hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, pick up customer returns, and fill out driver return slips. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, complete daily inspections, and secure keys, fuel, devices, and collected monies. Report maintenance needs, accidents, or damage immediately to store management. Communicate customer problems to store management and ensure fuel tanks are filled before end-of-day security. Clock in/out per policy and perform assigned duties including customer service, sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and cashier tasks. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
