Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers safely, using hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Collect cash on deliveries, pick up customer returns, and communicate special needs to store management. Maintain vehicles by keeping them clean, completing daily inspections, and reporting maintenance issues or accidents immediately. Secure keys, fuel cards, and collected monies at all times, ensuring fuel tanks are filled and vehicles are locked before end-of-day. Clock in/out per policy and perform additional duties as assigned, including sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and assisting customers as a cashier. Fluency in multiple languages is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
