Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely while using hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries and pick up customer returns including new, warranty, and cores. Maintain vehicles by completing daily inspections, keeping them clean, and reporting maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Secure keys, fuel cards, and monies collected at all times. Fill out driver return slips and communicate special customer needs to store management. Clock in/out per policy and perform assigned duties such as stocking, merchandising, and cashier tasks. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
