Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner, using fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, pick up customer returns, and fill out driver return slips. Maintain vehicles by keeping them clean, completing daily inspections, and reporting maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Secure keys, fuel cards, hand-held devices, and collected monies at all times. Clock in/out according to policy and perform additional duties as assigned, including sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and assisting customers. Fluency in multiple languages is highly desired. Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
