Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner, using hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and secure keys, fuel, devices, and collected monies. Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, pick up customer returns, and communicate special needs to store management. Report maintenance needs, accidents, or damage immediately, and ensure fuel tanks are filled and vehicles are locked at day's end. Clock in/out per policy and complete additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, stocking, and merchandising. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired. Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
