Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers while collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries and picking up customer returns. Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Maintain and secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, and collected monies; fill fuel tanks and lock vehicles at day's end. Communicate customer issues to store management and report maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Clock in/out per policy and perform additional duties as assigned, including sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and cashiering. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
