Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner, using fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and secure keys, fuel cards, and collected monies. Pick up customer returns and fill out driver slips, while communicating special needs to store management and reporting maintenance issues immediately. Clock in/out per policy and ensure fuel tanks are filled before securing the vehicle at day's end. Assist with customer service, cashier duties, merchandising, and stocking as assigned. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
