Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner while collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries and picking up customer returns. Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and secure all keys, fuel, devices, and collected monies. Pick up new, warranty, and core returns, fill out driver slips, and communicate customer needs to management. Report maintenance needs, accidents, or damage immediately, ensure fuel is filled, and lock vehicles at end of day. Clock in/out per policy and perform assigned tasks including customer service, sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and cashier duties. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
