Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner, using fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and secure keys, fuel cards, and collected monies. Collect cash on C.O.D. deliveries, pick up customer returns, and communicate special needs to store management. Report maintenance needs, accidents, or damage immediately, and ensure fuel tanks are filled before end-of-day lockout. Clock in/out per policy and complete assigned tasks including stocking, merchandising, cashiering, and errands. Requires a valid driver's license, strong communication skills, and ability to match alphanumeric sequences. Bilingual candidates encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
