Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner, using hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Maintain and inspect vehicles daily, keeping them clean and secure while managing keys, fuel, and collected monies. Pick up customer returns such as warranties and cores, communicate special needs to store management, and report any accidents or damage immediately. Perform assigned duties including sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and assisting with cashier tasks when business dictates. A legally required driver's license and strong interpersonal communication skills are essential. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
