Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner, using fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Maintain and secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, and collected monies by completing daily inspections, keeping vehicles clean, and reporting maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Pick up customer returns, fill out driver slips, and communicate special needs to store management. Clock in/out per policy and perform additional duties as assigned, including sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and assisting customers or serving as a cashier. Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
