Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently. Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, pick up customer returns, and fill out driver return slips. Secure vehicles, keys, fuel, and devices at all times, ensuring tanks are filled and vehicles are locked at end of day. Communicate customer issues to management and report maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and cashier tasks. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish fluency
