Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner, using fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Maintain and secure all vehicles, keys, fuel cards, and collected monies while completing daily inspections and reporting maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Pick up customer returns such as new, warranty, and core items, fill out return slips, and communicate special customer needs to store management. Clock in and out per policy, ensure fuel tanks are filled, and lock vehicles at day's end. Perform additional duties including sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and assisting customers as a cashier when business dictates. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
