Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner, using fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, pick up customer returns, and communicate special needs to store management. Maintain and secure vehicles, keys, fuel, and handheld devices by completing daily inspections, filling fuel tanks, and locking vehicles at day's end. Clock in/out per policy and report maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Perform additional duties as assigned, including sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and assisting with cashier tasks. A legally required driver's license and strong communication skills are required. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
