Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers while collecting C.O.D. payments and picking up returns. Use hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage, ensuring all vehicles remain clean, maintained, and inspected daily. Secure keys, fuel cards, and collected monies at all times, communicating customer issues to management and reporting maintenance or accident needs immediately. Fill out driver return slips for cores and warranty items, clock in/out per policy, and perform assigned tasks such as stocking, merchandising, or cashier duties as business dictates. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
