Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers safely and efficiently. Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, pick up customer returns, and use fleet management devices to process transactions, capture signatures, and update mileage. Maintain vehicles by completing daily inspections, keeping them clean, and securing keys, fuel cards, and collected monies. Fill out driver return slips for cores and report any accidents or damage immediately. Clock in/out per policy and perform additional tasks like sweeping, stocking, merchandising, or assisting customers as assigned. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
