Delivery Specialist

Job Summary
Maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers safely and efficiently. Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, pick up customer returns, and process transactions using fleet management hand-held devices. Complete daily vehicle inspections, keep vehicles clean and maintained, and secure keys, fuel cards, and collected monies at all times. Communicate customer issues to store management and report maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Fill out driver return slips, clock in/out per policy, and perform assigned tasks including stocking, merchandising, and cashier duties when business dictates. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
