Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently, using hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Complete daily vehicle inspections, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and secure keys, fuel cards, and collected monies. Pick up customer returns, fill out driver slips, and communicate special needs to store management while reporting maintenance issues or accidents immediately. Fill fuel tanks, lock vehicles at day's end, and clock in/out per policy. Perform additional duties as assigned, including sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and assisting with cashier tasks. Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
