Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for operating company vehicles to safely and efficiently deliver parts and products to professional customers. Key responsibilities include using delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and security, collecting money for C.O.D. deliveries, and reporting vehicle issues to management. Required skills include strong interpersonal communication, the ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences, and adaptability to changing situations. A valid driver's license and compliance with company driving eligibility standards are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
