Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist will operate store vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently, as well as handle C.O.D. deliveries and customer returns. Responsibilities include maintaining vehicle cleanliness and security, processing deliveries using handheld devices, communicating customer needs to management, and filling out driver return slips. Strong interpersonal communication skills and a valid state driver's license are mandatory, while familiarity with automotive parts and bilingual abilities are desired. This role may also involve customer service and merchandising tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Legally required state driver's license
- Meets company mandated driving eligibility requirements
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet company standards
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
