Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities include using delivery fleet management devices, keeping vehicles clean and maintained, collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries, and picking up customer returns. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing delivery situations, with specific driving eligibility requirements. Additionally, the position may involve customer service tasks, merchandising assistance, and general stocking duties.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
