Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner, using hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Maintain and secure all delivery assets, including vehicles, keys, fuel cards, and collected monies, while completing daily inspections and reporting any maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Pick up customer returns such as new, warranty, or core items, fill out return slips, and communicate special customer needs to store management. Perform additional duties as assigned, including sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and assisting with cashier tasks when business dictates. Clock in and out according to policy and ensure the fuel tank is filled and the vehicle is locked at the end of the day. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
