Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist will operate store vehicles for safe and efficient delivery of parts and products to customers, manage C.O.D. collections, and handle customer returns. Responsibilities include using delivery management devices, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, reporting maintenance needs, and ensuring secure handling of delivery items. Essential skills include strong communication and quick adaptability to changing situations. A valid state driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
