Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner while using fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Maintain and clean vehicles by completing daily inspections, securing keys and fuel cards, and reporting maintenance needs or accidents immediately to store management. Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries and pick up customer returns such as warranties and cores, filling out required slips and communicating special needs to store leadership. Perform additional duties as assigned, including sweeping, stocking, merchandising, running errands, and assisting with cashier tasks when business dictates. A legally required driver's license and strong communication skills are essential. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
