Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers while collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries and picking up customer returns. Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, secure keys and fuel cards, and report maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Communicate special customer needs to management and ensure fuel tanks are filled before end-of-day lockout. Perform additional duties including sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and assisting with cashier tasks as assigned. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish fluency
