Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist will operate store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers while maintaining safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries, picking up customer returns, and ensuring vehicles are clean and well-maintained. The role requires ability to use fleet management devices for processing deliveries and updating vehicle details. Essential skills include strong communication, adaptability to delivery changes, and maintaining a compliant driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
