Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities include using delivery fleet management devices, keeping vehicles clean and maintained, and ensuring security of delivery vehicles and collected funds. The role may also involve picking up customer returns and other duties such as customer service and merchandising tasks. Required skills include strong communication, quick adaptation to changing delivery situations, and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
