Job Summary
Delivery Specialist responsible for operating company vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers safely and efficiently, handling COD payments, processing returns, and maintaining vehicle and equipment security. Role includes customer service tasks, potential cashier duties, merchandise stocking, and participation in stock and order activities. Bilingual candidates encouraged, with emphasis on multilingual delivery support and ability to use fleet-management hand-held devices, process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update mileage, and conduct pre/post-delivery vehicle inspections. The position requires safeguarding vehicles, keys, fuel cards, and monies, reporting any issues promptly, and adhering to company policies and safety procedures. The role supports a full compensation package and a culture of internal advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
