Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently, using hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Maintain vehicles by completing daily inspections, keeping them clean, and securing keys, fuel cards, and collected monies. Pick up customer returns such as warranties and cores, fill out return slips, and communicate special needs to store management. Report maintenance needs, accidents, or damage immediately, and ensure fuel tanks are filled and vehicles are locked at day's end. Clock in/out per policy and perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, stocking, and merchandising. Fluency in multiple languages is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
