Job Summary
Delivery Specialist responsible for operating store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner, including COD collection, processing deliveries with hand-held devices, obtaining customer signatures, and performing daily vehicle inspections. May assist with cashiering and merchandising tasks; bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include keeping vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, devices, and monies secure, returning customer items, communicating issues to management, and following company policies for clocking in/out. Emphasis on safety, customer service, and flexibility to handle various duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
