Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for maintaining and operating store vehicles to deliver parts and products safely and efficiently, including collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries and picking up customer returns. Essential duties include operating delivery vehicles, using fleet management devices, securing vehicles and collected money, and reporting vehicle maintenance issues. Candidates must have strong interpersonal communication skills, a valid state driver's license, and a clean driving record. Additional tasks may involve customer service responsibilities and assisting with stock management.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
