Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist will operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products safely and efficiently, while also handling C.O.D. collections and customer returns. Responsibilities include using delivery fleet management devices, ensuring vehicle maintenance and cleanliness, securing collected monies, and communicating customer needs. Required skills include strong communication, adaptable driving ability, and a valid driver's license meeting company standards. This role may involve additional duties related to customer service, merchandising, and general stocking.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
