Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist will operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently, handling tasks such as managing deliveries, collecting payments on C.O.D. orders, and picking up customer returns. Responsibilities include vehicle maintenance, using delivery fleet management devices, communicating with store management about customer needs, and ensuring the security of delivery assets. The position requires strong communication skills, a valid state driver's license, and the ability to adapt to changing delivery situations.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
