Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist will operate store vehicles for the safe and efficient delivery of parts and products to customers, collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, and manage customer returns. Essential responsibilities include performing daily vehicle inspections, ensuring the security of delivery items, and maintaining communication with store management. Applicants must have strong communication skills and meet specific driving eligibility requirements, including possessing a valid state driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
