Job Summary
Deliver parts and products to professional customers using company vehicles; operate fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Pick up customer returns (including cores) and collect COD payments; ensure security of vehicles, keys, fuel cards, hand-held devices, and monies. Maintain and clean delivery vehicles, perform daily inspections, and report maintenance or damage. Clock in/out per policy. May assist customers as a cashier, help with stocking/merchandising, and perform related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
